MTSU outfielder posted 1.000 fielding percentage at MTSU
O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, members of the Prospect League, today announced the signing of Middle Tennessee State University outfielder Luke Vinson for the 2021 summer season.
Vinson, a 6’0” freshman from Murfreesboro, TN, appeared in eight games for the Blue Raiders in a COVID shortened 2020 season. He boasted a .250 on-base percentage and a 1.000 fielding percentage. At Oakland High School, Vinson was a three-time All-District 7AAA outfielder and 2019 District 7AAA player of the year. In his senior season, he hit .414 with 16 RBIs and 29 stolen bases to help his team make a state tournament appearance.
