Championship Week Coming to CarShield Field
Hoots playoff run and CarShield Collegiate League Championships start this week
O’FALLON, Mo. – CarShield Field, host to the O’Fallon Hoots and CarShield Collegiate League, kicks off their Championship Week on Thursday night. The Hoots play host to the Cape Catfish tonight at 6:35 p.m. before the CarShield Collegiate League wraps up their 2021 campaign.
The Hoots, winners of the Prairie Land Division First Half, take on second-half winners Cape Catfish in a one-game Division Playoff. With a win tonight, the Hoots will play host to the winner of the Normal CornBelters and Clinton LumberKings on Saturday, August 7 at 6:35 p.m. for the West Conference championship.
The Prospect League Championship series is scheduled for Game 1 on August 9, Game 2 on August 11 and Game 3 (if necessary) on August 12.
The CarShield Collegiate League four-team schedule will conclude on Sunday, August 8 with Champions crowned in the late game of the double header. A full schedule of the CCL Playoffs will be announced on August 6 along with an updated schedule of games for August 10-14.
The 2021 schedule of baseball at CarShield Field wraps up on August 14 with Star Wars Night. Specially priced bobblehead tickets are available with the bobbleheads presented by Cuivre River Electric Cooperative.
