Hoots Sign Right-Handed Hurler Yarberry for 2024 Prospect League Season

The freshman is 1-0 in his two starts for the Hoots, with 12 K’s and a .60 WHIP in 10 innings pitched

O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Jackson Yarberry for the 2024 summer season. Yarberry comes to O’Fallon as a freshman from Saint Louis University (SLU). 

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound right handed pitcher comes to the Hoots after completing his freshman year at St. Louis University. In his freshman year for the Billikins, Yarberry posted a 6.33 earned run average in 42.2 innings pitched while recording 33 strikeouts. The Lake St. Louis, Missouri-native played his high school baseball at Timberland High School in Wentzville where he posted a 3-3 record and a 2.67 ERA in 37.2 innings pitched. The right-hander has 12 strikeouts in ten innings pitched and has not allowed a run in his two starts.
