Maryville University Sophomore Joins Hoots Summer Lineup

Stevens to join the action behind the plate this summer

O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, members of the Prospect League, today announced the signing of Maryville University catcher Elias Stevens for the 2021 summer season.

The sophomore from Ballwin, MO. started 9 games for the Saints in a COVID shortened 2020 season. In 29 at bats, he posted a .557 OPS. In the catcher’s senior year at Christian Brothers College HS Stevens batted .305 in 95 at bats, driving in 34 runs while scoring 21.
