Matthew Lyday Enters First Offseason as Hoots’ Director of Corporate Partnerships

Mizzou graduate joined the front office prior to the 2022 summer campaign

O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, announced Matthew Lyday has joined the Hoots for his first offseason with the team as Director of Corporate Partnerships.

“Matthew is a true professional and understands what it means to be For the Fan,” Hoots General Manager David Schmoll said. “Over the summer, he showed us the work ethic he has on the operations side and I’m excited to see him transition that into how well he works with our new and existing partners.”

Lyday came to the Hoots in January 2022 to complete a stadium operations internship. Upon completion, he was hired to a full-time position assisting with corporate partnerships. The native of Wildwood, Missouri graduated from Eureka High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri in 2022.
