Meyer returns to the Hoots for 2023 Prospect League Season

The infielder led Rockwood Summit in BA, OBP, SLG, RBI, and home runs his senior season

O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, announced the signing of right-handed infielder Jack Meyer for the 2023 summer season. Meyer comes to O’Fallon as a sophomore from Lindenwood University. 

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound infielder attended Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, Missouri where he helped the Falcons to a third-place finish in Class 5 in 2021. Meyer led his high school team in batting average (.457), on-base percentage (.560), slugging percentage (.670), RBI (34), and home runs (4) his senior campaign. The Fenton, Missouri-native played for the St. Louis Gamers and was ranked as the number three third baseman for the class of 2021 in the state of Missouri. The sophomore played in 3 games for the Hoots in 2021, registering a .250 BA, one RBI, and two runs scored in eight at-bats for the Prospect League team. Meyer has a career .314 BA, .416 SLG, and .411 OBP for the Lindenwood University Lions, with 43 hits, 24 RBI, and 27 runs posted during his debut 2022 collegiate season.
