Missouri Southern State Infielder Heading to the Hoots
RS Sophomore posted .282 AVG as part of Missouri Southern State Program
O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, members of the Prospect League, today announced the signing of Missouri Southern State infielder Dexter Swims for the 2021 summer season.
Swims, a redshirt sophomore, played his second season for Missouri Southern State as their second baseman in 2020. Coming off his MIAA Freshman of the Year 2019 season, Swims posted a .971 fielding percentage over 19 games. The 5-foot-11, St. Louis, Missouri native finished his 2020 campaign with a .282 AVG.
