Right-Handed Hurler McCaleb Signs with Hoots for 2024 Prospect League Season

The freshman right hander was a contributor to the Christian Brothers University baseball program this spring

O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Connor McCaleb for the 2024 summer season. McCaleb comes to O’Fallon as a freshman from Christian Brothers University (CBU) in Memphis, Tennessee. 

The 6-foot, 200-pound right handed pitcher comes to the Hoots after completing his freshman year at Christian Brothers University. In his freshman year for the Bucs, McCaleb threw 44.2 innings, compiling a 0-3 record with 25 strikeouts. The Lake St. Louis, Missouri-native played his high school baseball at Timberland High School where he went 4-1 in eight games while posting a 4.64 ERA in 25.2 innings pitched. With the Hoots, the right-hander has 10 strikeouts in 10.2 innings pitched with two starts and one appearance out of the bullpen.
