The CarShield Collegiate League Returning for 2023 Season

Six teams will play a 29-game regular season beginning May 23

O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, members of the Prospect League, today announced that the CarShield Collegiate League (CCL) will be back for another summer season in 2023. For the fourth consecutive season, the CCL will play at CarShield Field, with six teams playing 29 seven-inning regular season games, followed by a four-team, one-game playoff series to determine the league winner.

“The 2023 CCL season is upon us and we are excited to have all six teams back in action this summer at CarShield Field!” Hoots General Manager David Schmoll said. “The CCL is an exciting way to kick off our summer baseball season and showcase local, talented college players to the O’Fallon community.”

The CCL will see all six teams from the 2022 season returning: Shredded Cheese, St. Louis Gamers, Adidas Athletics, Premier Baseball Academy (PBA), Gashouse Baseball, and St. Louis Prospects. The Shredded Cheese were last year’s CCL Champions, with the Athletics and Gamers finishing second and third respectively.
