Hoots Hire New Director of Promotions and Social Media

Emily Wilson becomes newest Hoots employee hired from internship program

O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, announced the hiring of Emily Wilson as the team’s new Director of Promotions and Social Media. Wilson fills an opening left with the departure of Jen Wunder who took a new opportunity in March.

“Emily was someone we identified pretty early on in her time here as a possible future full-time employee,” General Manager David Schmoll said. “I am excited to see what she brings to the table for our fans and how she shapes the in-game experience as we build the best fan experience in the Prospect League.”

Wilson joins the Hoots full-time staff after completing an internship in the Marketing and Promotions department at the Hoots. During her internship, she assisted in the development of the Hoots social media presence, specifically on TikTok. The native of Florissant, Mo.-native will graduate in May of 2022 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
