O’FALLON, Mo. — The O’Fallon Hoots have announced the hiring of Ian Krueger as the organization’s new Director of Ticketing, bringing back a familiar face who previously played a key role in the club’s ticket sales operations.
Krueger spent the past two summers with the Hoots, most recently serving as Director of Ticket Sales during the 2025 season after beginning with the organization as a Ticket Sales Intern. In that role, he managed ticketing operations for more than 75 summer events at CarShield Field while also overseeing and mentoring a team of six ticket sales interns.
“Ian made a tremendous impact during his time with the Hoots the past two summers,” said General Manager Brendan Saak. “His leadership with our ticket sales team, his ability to build relationships with fans and partners, and his previous knowledge of the Hoots organization made him a natural choice to step into this role.”
During the 2025 season, Krueger generated more than $25,000 in direct ticket revenue through individual, group, and corporate sales while expanding the organization’s client network by more than 100 accounts. He also collaborated with the Hoots’ marketing, operations, and food and beverage teams to enhance the fan experience for crowds exceeding 2,500 throughout the summer.
Outside of his work with the Hoots, Krueger has also been heavily involved in college athletics marketing at Butler University, where he serves as Vice President of Operations for the Dawg Pound, the university’s official student section. In that role, he has helped coordinate more than 50 high-attendance campus events and worked alongside Butler Athletics to strengthen student engagement and game-day atmosphere.
Krueger will begin his role immediately but will serve in a remote capacity through early May while completing his final semester at Butler University’s Lacy School of Business. He is expected to graduate in May 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
“I am super excited to be back with this organization,” said Krueger. “I am lucky to already have been so involved and have learned so much, and I can’t wait to turn that around and give everything to the future of this team!”
