O’FALLON, Mo. — The O’Fallon Hoots are excited to announce the hiring of Ethan Abercrombie as the team’s Assistant General Manager and Brady Bates as the Director of Food and Beverage.
Abercrombie joins the Hoots after graduating from Lindenwood University, where he earned his degree in Business Administration while competing for four years as a member of the Lindenwood Lions baseball program. A native of Jonesburg, Missouri, Abercrombie brings both on-field experience and operational knowledge to his new role.
Prior to joining the Hoots, Abercrombie worked in Facility Operations at Play9 Park in St. Peters, Missouri, where he gained hands-on experience in venue management and fan engagement. As Assistant General Manager, he will assist with day-to-day operations while helping ensure a welcoming and memorable ballpark environment.
“I’m excited to continue my career in sports and help provide athletes with the same meaningful opportunities I was fortunate to have,” Abercrombie said. “Just as importantly, I want fans to feel at home every time they walk into the ballpark.”
Also joining the organization is Brady Bates, who has been named Director of Food and Beverage. A St. Charles, Missouri native, Bates grew up attending St. Louis-area baseball games and even served as a bat boy for the River City Rascals, sparking a lifelong passion for the game.
Bates graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Sport Management and spent last summer interning in stadium operations. He officially joined the Hoots full-time in October and will oversee all food and beverage operations at CarShield Field, focusing on quality, efficiency, and enhancing the overall fan experience.
