Lohman returns to the Hoots for 2024 Prospect League Season
The O’Fallon-native recorded 38 K’s in 49 1/3 innings pitched for the 2023 Hoots
O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Barrett Lohman for the 2024 summer season. Lohman comes to O’Fallon as a sophomore from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis (UHSP).
The 6-foot-2, right-handed hurler returns to the Hoots after leading the club in innings pitched (49 ⅓) and strikeouts (38), while posting a 3-2 record in 11 appearances. Prior to joining the Hoots, Lohman attended Fort Zumwalt North High School in O’Fallon, Missouri, where he both pitched and played first base for the Panthers. His senior year, Lohman had a .321 AVG, .462 SLG, 25 hits, and 21 RBI in 78 at-bats. In his freshman season, Lohman pitched 48 ⅓ innings for the Eutectics during their inaugural 2023 season, starting in nine of his 13 appearances and recording 55 strikeouts.
