Patrick Clohisy Named Slugger of the Week After Blistering Hot Performance

The Hoots have won six in a row, in large part due to the left-handed power bat of Patrick Clohisy. After an incredible week, Clohisy was named Slugger of the Week for the Prospect League.

Clohisy went 9-15 (.600) over five games last week, clubbed two home runs, drove in six and scored nine times. In addition to the stellar offense, Clohisy was 5-5 in stolen base attempts.

On the season, Clohisy leads the Hoots in average (.463), on-base percentage (.558), slugging percentage (.878), home runs (four), stolen bases (nine), and hits (19). He is also second on the team in doubles (five) and third on the team in RBI’s (10).

Clohisy recently announced his commitment to St. Louis University, transferring from Purdue. He will look to continue his play at the plate as the Hoots look to continue to gain ground in the Prairie Land Division standings in order to host a playoff game this August.
