Mahomet, Ill. – The Prospect League announced Tuesday that O’Fallon Hoots outfielder
Nick Bonczkowski won the Player of the Week award for the second straight week.
Bonczkowski leads the Hoots with five home runs, five doubles and 29 RBI. This past
week, the Hoots outfielder totaled 10 hits and drove in 11 runs. Bonczkowski showed off
impressive power in the Hoots win against the Jackson Rockabillys on June 12, hitting
two home runs in three at bats.
The Hoots will play the Alton River Dragons at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday at CarShield Field.
