Clinton, IA – The O’Fallon Hoots and Clinton LumberKings were set to play a Friday night game at NelsonCorp Field. Due to inclement weather in the area, the game has been canceled and will not be made up.
On Thursday night, the Hoots beat the LumberKings 9-8 in 10 innings in what was a thrilling road victory. The second game would have given the Hoots (10-11) an opportunity to sweep the LumberKings and get to an even win-loss record. Clinton is tied for first with Quincy in the Northwest Division (12-8).
The Hoots will be back home at CarShield Field on Saturday night. First pitch against the Alton River Dragons is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
