Hot start, slow finish

Cape Girardeau, MO– The Hoots traveled to face Show Me State rivals the Cape Catfish and were defeated 17-3 in 7 innings. A hot start came to a quick halt after the pitching staff allowed 17 runs.

Hoots offense started early as it has all season as Jake McGhee hit a monster 2-run home run in the first inning. The Hoots offense didn’t score again until the 4th inning when it was already 9-2. Big nights from both Hayden Nazarenus and Jaxon Jones, who both recorded three hits and three RBI’s, propelled the Catfish to the monstrous win.

O’Fallon welcomes in the Jackson Rockabillies on June, 11th for a Thursday night double-header starting at 5:35 PM.
