Shutout extends Hoots win streak to 13!

Jackson, MS- The Hoots extended their win streak to 13 in Thursday’s first game of a double-header against the Jackson Rockabillies winning 4-0. Three pitchers combined to keep Jackson scoreless through the seven innings leading to the Hoots victory.

Keller Costello continued his dominant season as he went four shutout innings while striking 3 Rockabillies out. Mason Lee and Noah Turner came in relief and got the final outs of the shut out.

On the offensive side, Nick Boncskowski continued to tear the Jackson pitching staff apart as he hit another homerun. His 11th homer of the season followed by two more RBI’s by Griffin Brown and Jaiden Glency gave the hoots plenty of separation for the pitching staff to shut things down.

The Hoots move to 5-0 in he second half of the season and will play the second game of a double-header in Jackson against the Rockabillies.
