O’Fallon, MO- Four O’Fallon Hoots have been selected to the 2026 Prospect League All-Star Game. The names include Samuel Paule, Nick Bonczkowski, Jake Collier and Drew Politte. They will travel to Lafayette, Indiana, home of the Lafayette Aviators, from July 6-7th, where the Western Conference All-Stars take on the Eastern Conference All-Stars.
The first of the four, Paule, was welcomed to the team late as he dealt with injury but has starred at shortstop in the first half of the season. The Missouri Baptist standout his .376 while maintaining a OPS (On-Base Percentage plus Slugging Percentage) of .982. He has predominantly been the leadoff hitter for O’Fallon’s Manager Carter Mize and has done his job excellently as he has a .500 On-Base Percentage while driving in 15 runs while adding a home run into the mix.
Bonczkowski is making an early push for Prospect League MVP as he leads the league with 44 RBIs and 10 Home Runs. On top of the counting stats, the new Lindenwood Lion commit has a batting average of .373 with an OPS of 1.146. He stands out in the slugging department, where he has a .736 slugging percentage. The slugger will also be participating in the 2026 Prospect League Home Run Derby taking place on July 6th, at Loeb Stadium, the home of the Lafayette Aviators.
Moving onto the pitching mound, Collier has stood out for the Hoots as he has pitched to a team- best 2.05 ERA over five starts. The southpaw struck out 26 batters while only walking 11. The former Missouri State Bear and new Crowder Roughrider has only allowed 6 runs across 26.1 innings, leading to his All-Star nomination.
Collier’s right-handed counterpart, Politte, also earned the All-Star nod as he pitched to a 2.31 ERA over four starts. Politte struck out 21 batters while only allowing 8 walks. The Bradley Brave has also only allowed 6 runs across 23.1 innings, leading to his nomination.
